The focus today is the attacks on the theory of Evolution and the theory of the "Big Bang" origin of the universe.
Dover Pennsylvania's entire eight member schoolboard was voted out of office for attemting to push "intelligent design" into the classroom. Scientists don't believe that "interlligent design" is science. Religious fundamentalists go on the attack. Pat Robertson says that God will smite down the people of Dover.
The second half of the program is a recorded discussion with Dr. Kaku and community college students on the topic of Dr. Kaku's book, Parallel Worlds.
GUESTS: Simon Singh, a journalist, physicist, and the author of Big Bang, discusses the origin of the universe.
