Allee Willis - Sound of Soul Collection

Description

Presented on five MP3-formatted discs. Total running time: 56 hours 49 minutes

These programs were preserved thanks to generous donations at the "Sound of Soul" Adopt-a-Tape party held on February 18th, 2007. Party host and multi-media artist Allee Willis and her friends selected and funded the preservation of these 68 historic African American audio recordings, many of which had never before been publicly available. This collection contains material exclusive to Pacifica Radio Archives.
