Description

Paul Robeson, noted actor and political activist, relates his personal history and his views during this interview with Elsa Knight Thompson of KPFA and Harold Winkler, then-president of Pacifica Foundation.

Robeson grew up in New Jersey, lived as an expatriate in Europe in the 1930s, returned to the U.S. after World War II, and became one of the early activists in the Civil Rights movement.
