CD 1 & 2: On Tuesday, November 19, 2002, the Pacifica Radio Archives had its first annual National Day of Broadcast on all Five Pacifica stations to raise funds for the preservation and restoration of the Pacifica audio collection. On this date KPFA host Andrea Lewis spent two hours with public radio host Studs Terkel speaking on the significance of the PRA collection and on his life and work. CD 3: On January 20, 2000, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art hosted a conversation between Tim Robbins, actor-writer-director, and Studs Terkel, long-time radio show host. At 87 years of age, Terkel answered questions on his life, and about people and politics in 20th Century America. CD 4: "Simone de Beauvoir In Conversation with Studs Terkel"
