Currently, Rita is associate editor of the literary journal Callaloo and is Commonwealth Professor of English at the University of Virginia where she teaches creative writing. She is also Poet Laureate Consultant to the Library of Congress and a former Fullbright fellow. In addition to the interview, Rita Dove reads selections from her poetry.
