Aspects include how and when race and oppression come up in arguments, pressures from family, and societal expectations placed upon both gays/lesbians and people of color. The couples, most of whom are identified by first name only, are Warren, a Black man, and his lover Steve, a white man; Anita, a Black woman in a relationship with a white woman, Kerry (unsure of spelling); June, an Asian woman in a relationship with Rita Romero, a Latina woman; Paul Chen, an Asian man and his lover, Chris Gaynor; and Jeanette, a Black lesbian in a relationship with a white woman, Meredith Hanks. Hosted by Helene Rosenbluth and David Fradkin. Gay Day 1981.
