NPR's Connie Goldman interviews artist Alice Neel about her work with the Works Project Administration (WPA), on the occasion of a WPA artists' exhibition at the Hirschhorn Museum in Washington, D.C. -- 6. KPFA's Sue Supriano presents an interview with Birgitta Dahl, Social Democrat and member of the Swedish Parliament, conducted at the First International Conference in Solidarity with Grenada. The last segment, a special report by Janet Gelman about inmates at the California Institution of Women who are cut off from contact with their friends, visitors and children, is not included on PRA's copy of this recording.
