Description:

Talk with question and answer session about how humanity creates the universe through language. He claims that we constantly interpret the world into language, but the world is not necessarily the same as the description. Each event has a multitude of viewpoints. Even our view of self reflects descriptions which deny that we are basically feeling-thinking beings. But not all languages are constructed the same way. Nootka, a Pacific Northwest Amerindian language, does not differentiate between noun and verb, thus linking cause and effect into the same word. He concludes by suggesting we all need to become children again, to touce, feel and smell the world without classifying it.
