Paolo Soleri| On Becoming Spirit / Recorded on February 1, 1975. - CONTENT: Paolo Soleri is an Italian Architect who came to the US in 1947 to study with Frank Llyod Wright. Soleri's thinking, which has the elements of the thinking of Teilhard de Chardin, has developed to the point where he proposes arcologies to further man's material and spiritual evolution. Arcologies are three dimensional cities built in minimal land area and as high as they are wide. Jeffrey Cook, Architect and critic traces Soleri's work up to Acrosanti, a proto arcology under construction in AZ. - Recorded on February 1, 1975.
