BROKEN PROMIS : THE HAMILTONS vs. THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT / Bill and Nancy Hamilton| interviewed by Joseph Benti. - The Hamiltons, owners of a software development company called Inslaw, discuss how the Justice Department under Ed Meese stole and utilized Promise, their software product, and how this theft drove them to the brink of bankruptcy. Alterted by an investigative reporter, Danny Casalaro, they learned that he was found dead in a motel room. The autopsy claimed suicide, but the investigation was minimal. Since then, the Hamiltons have learned that the Canadian Mounted Police are using their product, as well as an effort by Meese to have the program implemented throughout the Reagan administration. They go on to trace the legal battles which they have fought, and the current state of affairs. CONTENT: r.1. Interview (50 min.). r.2.
