Dr. Griffin gave the keynote address at the Week Against Violence event, titled, "Eliminating Racism & Hate Crime" that took place at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Griffin challenged those in attendance to look beyond the dialogue about race relations to actions that contribute to real understanding and mutual achievment towards the goal of eliminating racism and hatred. Following his talk, there is a question and answer period where questions written by participants were read.The event was sponsored by the City of Los Angeles Human Relations Commission, The National Conference, The Los Angeles YMCA, and the International House of Blues Foundation. - Recorded on October 20, 1995.
