Documentary based upon interviews with several Blenmary Sister, Anne Leibig, Monica Appleby, Katherine Rumaschlag, and Cathy Hutson, along with sociologist Helen Lewis and feminist theologian Elizabeth Bounds. The program traces the experiences of a group of former Glenmary Sisters who established Catholic missions in the Appalacian mountains during the 1960's.
