From their forced relocation in 1864 to the Treaty of 1868 when they regained some of their homeland, from the redistricting of their land to the enforced cutbacks of their livestock and crop yield, the Dineh have signed treaties which have been consistantly violated by the U.S. government. The Dineh tried to cope with a legal system they do not understand. Now more than six thousand Dineh are again facing relocation| President Carter signed Public Law 93531 in violation of the Treaty of 1868, according to the Dineh.
