As a philosopher-theologian, herbalist, composer and writer, she became an Abbess and a counselor to Bishops and Kings. Her writings would now be considered ecologially-minded, and she argues for a view of the world in terms of interconnectedness. Faith Wilding grew up in a Paraguay religious commune of refugees from Nazi Germany.
