There have been shifts in leadership, humor, emotions, and voices of the next generation. Vine Deloria suggests that the Lakota should return to raising buffalo, and bankrupt farmers should deed their land to the Lakotas. The battle for the return of the Black Hills will continue in the legal arena, but will also continue within the Lakota themselves.
