Bob Lefcourt speaks with attorney Lennox Hinds from the School of Criminal Justice at Rutgers University in New Jersey, second president of the National Conference of Black Lawyers. Discussion on trial of Assata Shakur, who was kept in solitary confinement for two years before her trial in New Jersey. Hinds was summoned from the Bar association and refused to go saying that what he had said in the press undermined the judicial system. Produced by WBAI. Recorded on June 6, 1979. Broadcast on June 6, 1979.
