AMERICA'S NATIONAL SECURITY STATE : ITS GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
AMERICA'S NATIONAL SECURITY STATE : ITS GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT / Philip Agee. - Talk by former CIA agent Philip Agee in which he traces the development of the National Security States and its influence upon United States foreign and domestic policies. Agee continues his presentation by suggesting that, according to the CIA, the Third World has become the primary threat the U.S. interests. The goal of the Agency is to maintain the United States as the only "super power" in the world. This goal includes defeating democratic movements in Latin America and the Caribbean and the continued buildup of American military forces. Agee concludes with a discussion of how the economic elite began taking over the country during the Constitutional Convention, in which the principles of the Declaration of Independence were replaced by the needs of the ruling class. - RECORDED: Socially Responsible Singles, Sepulveda, California, Nov. 1992.
