Description:
Judith P. Baumgartner, a Swiss registered nurse, spent two years in Nepal under the auspices of a private organization called the Swiss Association for Technical Assistance, nine months of that time completely alone in an area so remote she had to walk for six days to complete the last lap of her journey.
