Description:
Phone interview with Donald Freed, the author of Death in Washington. He discusses 1960's-70's FBI efforts to infiltrate, collect intelligence, and destroy organizations for social change. He traces efforts to undermine the Black Panthers and Students for a Democratic Society, and how the FBI abused Civil Liberties. His conclusions are that it is difficult to hold the FBI accountable for its activities.
