Washington D.c. Moratorium, April 15, 1970| Recorded by WBAI. - CONTENT: Bill Schatler hosts, phone feed from New York, introductions to speeches. Charlie Palmer, President of the National Student Associations talks about the government supported repression in South Vietnam. Leslie Kagan, from the Women's Liberation Movement calls on all women not to accept the status quo, and not to support the war in any way. David Dellinger speaks about which way the movement should go, and the Black Panthers 21 trial in New York. Pete Seeger sings and recites an Allan Ginsberg poem. Jane Benedict from New York City's housing organization speaks about how real estate must be fairly taxed. Tenanats organizations must organize with others. Martin Morganstern from a militant NY union blasts the mainstream trade union movement. He calls on members of the audience to raise real issues in local unions. Nagid Labor, from the Black Panthers in NY, speaks about their situation. (Profanities have been edited out.) - Broadcast on April 15, 1970.
