In 1934 and 1935, Gertrude Stein visited the United States to lecture on her writings. For the tour she composed six lectures, later collected in LECTURES IN AMERICA. The fifth of these lectures is called Portraits and Repetition. This recording of Portraits and Repetition was made by Charles Amirkhanian. It is about 62 minutes in duration.
