Audio file QC (Pass One) notes:
Part a: Recording exceeded 2 GB limit. Split into two files with 10 second overlap. Beginning cut off, hiss, static during actualities, end cut off--but there is audio overlap with Part B, so no content is lost. Part A1: 00:52:15 Part A2: 00:59:09
Content: The protest is against war or military involvement with El Salvador. Credits for upcoming speakers at about 5 minutes in. Recording was made from about 11am that time until 2pm. Speaker who asks Abzug about the feminist position at 58:20 (and continued into Part B) is Ronnie Lovler (in LOC).
Part b: Recording exceeded 2 GB limit. Split into two files with 10 second overlap: 52:15 and 22:27. End cut off, hiss, distortion. Beginning has overlap with the end of PZ0041A, so no content is lost between the parts. At 23:23 in part B1 begins a ten-minute-long performance by Sweet Honey In The Rock. All speakers on both parts are introduced. They should all be noted - some big names, and the recording quality is great. Participant credits given with 1:40 left to go in the tape, which makes me think that the third reel is not actually missing. They sign off as if the broadcast is complete. They discuss the time allotted in the end credits. Very end (in-studio) cut off.
