Documentary on sex stereotyping in American during the 1950s. Producer Brett Vuolo introduces it this way: "I'm here with Ronnie, Sheila, and Barbara, and we're going to be rapping about what it was like to grow up female in the '50s. We'll be talking, playing records, reading our diaries, and yearbooks, and taking phone calls, and generally freaking out on the '50s." (Phone calls not on this recording) Contains sensitive language. Very bad levels at middle of tape. This is the original, unedited version of AZ0240.

Audio file QC (Pass One) notes:
Recording exceeded 2 GB limit. Split into two files with 10 second overlap.
Part one (52:15): Distortion, hiss, print-through. Starts with pre-recorded song played in toto "It's a woman's world." Hostess Brett Vuolo describes the program this way: This is Brett Vuolo. I'm here with Ronnie, Sheila, and Barbara, and we're going to be rapping about what it was like to grow up female in the '50s. We'll be talking, playing records, reading our diaries, and yearbooks, and taking phone calls, and generally freaking out on the '50s. HRL note: I didn't listen fluidly through the whole thing, but I don't think they ever took any phone calls.
Part two (25:35): Distortion. Didn't notice horrible levels anywhere, per the box's warning.
JB note 20150226--this is the unedited version of AZ0240, which is up at OSKIcat.
