Philip Agee, former CIA agent and Latin America Bureau Chief, was the first CIA official to break with the organization and reveal how it works to the American public. Agee discusses his latest book, "Inside the Company: a CIA Diary." Agee explores the origins of the CIA, its early successes in the Philippines, how the CIA is connected to death squads in El Salvador and Guatemala, the history of the Cold War, and how the United States Security State developed. The interview is followed by listener phone-ins.
