Audio file QC (Pass One) notes:
Hiss, distortion. Content: Episode of "Work." Starts with the interview with Jackie Tonawanda that Bonnie Bellow did in BC2148. I think it's the entire interview, at least, it has the same duration as the other. Then they play "I am woman, hear me roar" by Helen Reddy. At 26:50 begins the second half of the program. Intro: several years ago, Neil Conan produced this report on boxing in New York. At that time, almost no one was talking about the question of whether to allow women into the boxing world. Outro: the material for this program was recorded at two gyms in Manhattan: The Grammercy on 14th street and Gill Clancy's Telstar on West 28th. Some of the boxers interviewed include Amile Griffith, Chuchu Molave, Pat Robinson, Fred Cobb, and Miguel Ortiz. Technical production was by Charles Pitts. Narrator is Neil Conan.
