Made for Food Day 1975 (April 17), this documentary examines the thousands of additives in our food, and finds evidence that at least some are hazardous to our health. The program includes interviews with Dr. Jacqueline Verrett, biochemist and co-author of "Eating May Be Hazardous To Your Health"; Dr. William Lijinsky (1928-2004), scientist at Oakridge National Laboratories; Dr. Robert Angelotti from the Bureau of Foods; Anita Johnson, a lawyer representing the Public Citizen Health Research Group; Gilbert S. Goldhammer, consultant to the committee overseeing the activities of the FDA; Dr. Michael Jacobson, co-director of the Center for Science and the Public Interest; Jim Turner and Ruth Desmond.
