Description:
Unidentified interviewer talks with Larry Atterbury of KTTV Channel 11 Television in Los Angeles and Jim Barnes, who has performed a before-and-after psychological stress test on the voice of Patty Hearst based on two communiqués from the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA). Barnes used a machine called the Psychological Stress Evaluator which measures the amount of stress in various phrases and words, to see if there was any difference in Patty Hearst's voice between the first SLA tape and the last.

At top of tape, female announcer says, "I'm talking with Larry Atterbury, who is a reporter for KTTV channel 11 television. And this evening, KTTV has conducted a stress analysis on some of the tapes received from the SLA and particularly on the voice of Patricia Hearst." Then Larry introduces the man on the line with him, Jim Barns, who has the exclusive distributorship of a machine called the Psychological Stress Evaluator, which measures the amount of stress in various phrases and words, to see if there was any difference in Patty Hearst's voice between the first SLA tape and the last.
