One of the most remarkable avant-garde composers in the world is Annea Lockwood, who was born in 1939 in New Zealand. Charles Amirkhanian visits her at her home in the English countryside to find out about her remarkable sonic experiments. Lockwood's "Glass Concert" and "Tiger Balm" are heard, and you will take a walk through Annea's garden which contains five pianos as well as the more usual garden varieties.
