Following the welcoming address by Chancellor Roger W. Heyns of the University, and a foreword by the Symposium chairman, Charles Y. Glock, chairman of the sociology department at the University, the topic "The Persistence of American Prejudice" is discussed by Dore Schary, chairman of the Anti-Defamation League, and Arthur S. Flemming, President of the University of Oregon. This reel contains Dore Schary's talk only.
