This is followed by an interview with John Trudell, chief spokesman for Alcatraz island, conducted by Denny Smithson as they sit in the sun on a retaining wall in the upper courtyard of the island, followed by a press conference with John Trudell and LaNada Means. Subject matter is the occupation of Alcatraz by Indians of all tribes in November 20, 1969 on its one-year anniversary (November 20, 1970).
