Cleaver talks about the origins of the Black Panther Party and describes it as the culmination of a series of movements and organizations in the black community. She also talks about their coalition with the Peace & Freedom Party, the Panthers' involvement in the electoral process, and their merger with the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC). Contains sensitive language.
