His book, "To The End of Time," explores Time founder Harry Luce's editorial philosophy: separation of editors and businessmen. Since that time, however, information and corporate sponsorship have grown closer together. He cites as examples: Steve Ross and HBO, Time's magazine stagnation in the 1980's, CBS, Gannet Newspapers, and ABC and Capital Cities.
