Lang, a Texas journalist who has covered the S & L story for five years, talks about the Bush bailout plan for the bank failures, and the Resolution Trust Corporation. He talks about the FDIC holding onto properties which could be disastrous as there are few staff to handle the properties and the potential for loss is great. Lang uses Houston developers Joe Russo, David Greenberg and Charles Nab of Arizona as examples of people who looted and walked away from S & L's, and are now engaged in cash for trash schemes.
