Description:

On July 6, 2006, The Pacifica Radio Archives sent senior producer Mark Torres and producer Christopher Sprinkle to record and interview with Tim Robbins and Pete Seeger for an epic four-hour interview. Tim Robbins and Pete Seeger covered everything from Pete's privileged upbringing to Pete's decision to throw that advantage out the window and hit the road with fellow minstrel Woody Guthrie singing for their supper.

The stories cover The Almanac Singers, Lead Belly, The Weavers, His independent record label and folk newsletter, his fight against fascism, his blacklisting, his activism, Clearwater, anti war activities, the Folk explosion of the 1960's and everything else under the sun.  Special thanks to Alan Dater for his camera work, Tyler Gibson for sound, Jim Musselman for his work with Pete Seeger, and Farid Sassif for coordinating Tim Robbins participation.
