Hugo Blanco, a Peruvian Senator and leader of the Confederation of Peasants of Peru, speaks about how the United States war on drugs is a cover for counter-insurgency operations. He argues that the United States is in league with drug lords, and that the International Bank is pressuring Peru to bring down the quality of life and reduce social programs.

Colonel David Hacworth, author of About Face: Odyssey of an American Warrior, traces how he has changed from a cold warrior into a disarmament activist. Wounded 8 times serving the United States since 1946, he argues that we now need to disarm, but do so logically. The Cold War is over because the two superpowers went bankrupt, he reasons, so we now must change swords into plowshares.
