Rochelle Owens reads excerpts from The Joe 82 creation poems (Black Sparrow press). Muriel Rukeyser reads St. roach, Despisals, Dream drumming, and Double ode. Quincy Troupe reads These days: the legacy of slow turning, The old people speak of death, The other night, After hearing a radio announcement, Up sun, south of Alaska: a short Black American history, and At the end, at the end.
