Meecham Schwartz is a journalist and political activist who opposes the Israeli occupation of the West Bank. She discusses the political defeat of the Likud Party, particularly because of the Intifada. She goes on to discuss the role of United States loans in Israeli politics, and the coalition which Rabin has formed which marginalizes his own doves.
