Please support Pacifica Radio's efforts to save rare antique recordings for future generations by making a donation today! Please see our Fund Drive premiums here.

The Pacifica Radio Archives is the repository of over 50,000 audio recordings that represent the evolution of Pacifica Radio's broadcast history, and is considered by historians and scholars to be one of the oldest and most important audio collections in the world. Chronicling the political, cultural and artistic movements of the second half of the 20th century, Pacifica radio programs include documentaries, performances, discussions, debates, drama, poetry readings, commentaries and radio arts. Because many of these recordings are in very poor condition, efforts to preserve and digitize the collection are now underway through a national Preservation and Access Project.
