The Self Aware Universe / Amit Goswami| interviewed by Pamela Burton. - SERIES: Philosopher stone Dr. Amit Goswami, professor of physics, discusses his new book, "The Self Aware Universe." He begins by examining the paradigm shift which is taking place in the physical sciences, with the traditional view of matter comprised of atoms being replaced by the idea that matter is made up of consciousness. Classical physics (Newtonian) could not explain particle characteristics so quantum physics was introduced. However, quantum physics can not give final answers about the movement of objects, it only assigns probabilities.
