Description:

Talk by Ambrose Lane on the increasingly hostile social and economic atmosphere for minorities, and how African-Americans must readjust their thinking for the upcoming century. Lane begins with a Brothers Karamazov tale about a visitation of Jesus to Spain during the Inquisition, where the Church charges him with heresy. The issue is how changes in Christian doctrine has produced a white God, excluding African-Americans from equal participation in society. Lane goes on to evaluate the United States political and social systems, and compares United States policies to those of Hitler's Germany. The problem is limited control of the seat of power and the communications media, and the concentration of wealth. He concludes with a critique of the Old Testement book of Daniel.
