Dr. Helen Caldicott speaks before the American Association for Advancement of Science and Physicians for Social Responsibility, recorded January 5, 1980. Caldicott, a pediatrician and founder of Physicians for Social Responsibility, gives her horrifying account of what the world will be like after a nuclear war, giving examples of the radiation disease resulting from the bombs dropped on Japan, citing the medical conditions of citizens of Hiroshima.
